We’re the friends behind iMedara. We created a Canadian company that guides international patients to trusted specialists in Colombia, pairing clinical rigour with human-centred care. Our name captures our purpose:

Our story is human. We’ve faced depression, family loss, and the challenges of emigrating learning new cultures and languages and we transformed those experiences into empathy, ethics, and resolve. We’re moms and professionals who blend yoga, astrology, marketing, finance, and law into a rare balance of excellence and care. Voracious readers, we speak different languages like (English, Spanish, and Italian), and we are disciplined doers.

We start with a personal consultation to understand why you’re considering this path and what outcomes you want. Medical Evaluations.

Your case is reviewed by our network of accredited specialists. We coordinate records, imaging, and virtual evaluations to confirm candidacy and refine the plan. You receive a clear treatment proposal with transparent pricing, expected recovery, and risks explained in plain language.

Arrival & Airport Pick-Up.

On arrival, your bilingual host greets you, manages logistics, and escorts you to vetted accommodation. We help you get set up (SIM/Wi-Fi, essentials) and walk you through your itinerary; calm, clear, and exciting to have you with us!

Medical Appointments & Procedure Day.

Door-to-door transportation is included. Your host accompanies you to pre-op labs and consultations, supports forms and translation, and keeps your family/companion updated during the procedure.

Recovery, Comfort & Gentle Experiences.

We coordinate nursing support and aftercare as needed, plus comfortable recovery housing or hotel options near your clinic. When appropriate, we suggest light, recovery-friendly activities so you can enjoy Colombia without compromising healing.

Departure Made Simple.

After your clearance visit, we prepare your medical records, prescriptions, and fit-to-fly guidance. Your airport transfer is included, with check-in assistance for a smooth exit.

Post-Op Follow-Up.

Back home, we continue with scheduled virtual check-ins, photo assessments, and specialist follow-ups. If local care is needed, we help you identify appropriate providers and share documentation.

"I’m 47, I live in Toronto, and like many women, I’ve been through a few phases with my body. A few months ago, I went to a consultation for Botox, and that’s where I found out about iMedara. It couldn’t have come at a better time.

 

I had breast implants for years, but I no longer felt comfortable with them. I just didn’t feel like myself anymore. I wanted to look more natural  softer, lighter, more me. For so long, I was afraid that if I took the implants out, I’d end up looking like a raisin (I laughed about it with my consultant!). But iMedara changed that perspective completely.

 

They listened to my concerns, offered different proposals, and worked with their surgeons to build a plan that made sense for me we decided to remove the implants and perform a mastopexy (breast lift) to reshape and remodel the breast tissue naturally. I also chose to have a blepharoplasty to refresh my eyes.

Even though we didn’t speak the language, iMedara arranged everything: a personal coordinator who stayed with us every day, a driver, and a wonderful team that made us feel safe, understood, and at home.
